Lufthansa Technik and EXSYN collaborate on aircraft data migration
Amsterdam, Netherlands / Hamburg, Germany – January 2023
Lufthansa Technik has opted to enter into a collaboration with EXSYN. As part of the collaboration, EXSYN’s aircraft data management solution, NEXUS, will play a vital role in providing the required technology and expertise in order to manage complex aircraft data flows as part of migration of aircraft fleets from the manage/m systems to AMOS. In addition, this is augmented with technical expertise provided by EXSYN’s team of Aircraft Data Consultants in order to make sure that aircraft are migrated between systems and at the same time minimize any risk of corruption of critical aircraft airworthiness data.
Uwe Till, Head of Professional Business Services Aircraft Maintenance & Engineering, says, “EXSYN is well known for its capabilities in the field of aircraft data migration. After a thorough selection process, we decided that EXSYN would the best fit to support Lufthansa Technik in migrating our managed fleets from manage/m to AMOS.”
Sander de Bree, CEO of EXSYN Aviation Solutions, adds, “Having a leading aircraft maintenance provider such as Lufthansa Technik select EXSYN as partner for critical activities such as aircraft data migration is a true honor and underpins our place in the aviation industry as a true independent industry partner for aircraft data management solutions.”
EXSYN’s Aircraft Data Management Platform focuses on the three main elements of aircraft data management: Data Migration, Data Integration & Data Analytics. Powered by NEXUS, AVILYTICS, and EXSYN’s managed service portfolio. Capabilities in the platform range from MRO system data migration capabilities for all commonly used aviation industry MRO software, building SPEC25000 compliant aircraft redelivery binders, transforming aircraft delivery binders to be automatically loaded into airline MRO software and a wide range of aircraft data health reports to monitor data quality. The full range of analytics capabilities caters to aircraft reliability management, maintenance cost optimization, and prediction of upcoming aircraft component failures. Thru tools available for data integration, airlines and MRO’s can automate business processes that make use of – or generate the data available in their MRO systems. Clients using EXSYN’s Aircraft Data Management Platform can also opt to augment this with expert services provided by EXSYN’s team of Aircraft Data Consultants.
